More torcher devices

Hey everypup & Girl Girl:

Hadn't realized how long since I last blogged. Mom hasn't been doing that great. The radiation treatment helped some of the back pain but not all. Her Sy Actica is really bothering her and she hasn't been able to get rid of the metal monster. Actually she has a new torcher device. It is a grabber to grab things up high or down low (hopefully none of my parts).

Mom undergoes her second "chemo" session on Tuesday afternoon.

Mom would like to thank Sunshade's mom and Lillie Valentine's mom for gathering get well cards from all over the world and passing them on to her. She liked the unicorn and the dog post-it notes too. She would also like to thank Sunshade's mom for the carved glass with a picture of mom, dad and me with the words "Love Conquers". Mom has it on her desk at work. There was also some tag bling for me- a heart shaped dog charm with my picture on one side and the Long Life sign on the other.

Some of the doggies are blogging about what blogging means to them. I would like to tell every-one what it has meant for me and mom:

1. If not for DWB, I would never have gotten to the dog park or gotten to meet other dogs, whether on-line or in person.

2. I would not have had my diet changed for the better and would not have meaty bones.

3. I would not have felt the love and prayers from dogs & FuFu & Girl Girl and their hoomans all over the world for me & mom.

4. I would not be C-K-C

Hoping to blog more often.

C-K-C

Hey C-K-C,
Glad to see your post. We're glad you enjoyed all of the cards. Those grabber thingys work pretty well. Mama has 2 of those & when Papa's Uncle had hip replacement, he borrowed them to help him get things. We hope your Mama's 2nd treatment goes well. We bet she will start feeling much better after that. Takes a while for that nasty chemo stuff to kick in & work. Keep taking good care of your Mama!!!
Luv & Wirey Hugs!

C-K-C! Tell your Mama, in answer to her query about Rumpole of The Bailey, we did not used to watch it when it was on our TV, BUT, the phrase "she who must be obeyed" has crept into our language and is heard a lot over here!!

love and healing licks to your Mama,

Hey CKC and Kathleen

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a comment in response to what I said about Fei.
Even though it's hard what we go through- moving, sickness, loss of friendships/ relationships; our dogs pull us through time and again.
I'm very grateful to her.
As part of the DWB community, we are rooting for you to get well. We are here, your personal cheerleaders and can't wait to share all the joys of your recovery!
love lots,
Fei and Eve (the human)

Oh CKC - we are so pleased to hear your mom is doing well!!

My mom has one of those gabber things - she go it when they gave her a new knee and she uses it now to reach all the tall things in the kitchen - she never grabs me - so I wouldn't worry if I were you!

Have a happy day - Dory

Hey C-K-C!!! So glad to see your post, sorry I've been away....

How is your mom doing with her second treatment?? Is her pain better?? We are all praying for her, and make sure you do some funny stunts like roll in poop or something in front of your mom ok? That always take the "painful" expression off my mum's face (but then another kind of scawwwie expression appears....)!

What you wrote about blogging is so nice, so touching, but oh so true!!! We're all gonna be here for you, your mom, and Tom!

Continual Aire-Zening your way..

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade
