breaking in a newbie

The dad is now online to try blogging, it took me awhile to convince him, but it helped the mom over problems so maybe he'll come around too. he's not exactly the blogging type, or the get us food on time type or remember to let us in type or well even I don't have time to list them all. I'm working on getting him in line. I still am looking for kathie, but I kinda am getting around to realizing my family got a little bit smaller. did you know people can't see in the dark, that idiot has tripped over me 3 times when he gets up in the middle of the night. I'm not getting excited or sense problems so why is he up stumbling around, go to sleep , us dogs gotta sleep too. The meaty bones issues seemed to be resolved, finally. he's getting better at remembering. does anyone know why he gets excited when eating those funny red squishy things from the garden? he offered me part and after a sniff, I didn't want it, some yellow ones too. Hey Charlie Kelley-Church , I am so sorry about your mom. She was a special lady, and I know my Human, Linda, really liked her. I know you must be missing her lots. But give your dad a chance, I betcha he settles in and gets you back on your schedule. And heck, he might even get into the blogging. In the meantime, you could be considerate of him and sleep somewhere out of the way so he doesn't trip over you.
Big soft wags to you all

Hi CKC, glad to hear your dad is going to help you blog. I'm sure you're going to be a good teacher to him. Just have to be patient.

What was your dad eating at the garden? Tomatoes?

we are so happy he is going to help you. We bet it helps him a little too. Hopefully he gets the feeding thing down right. We don't want you or even the cats to starve.
Is your dad eating tomatoes? and you didn't want any? They are so good. I would be excited too.

Ach, Charlie, breaking in a new Scribe is difficult! Mine often waits for New Photographs. Sometimes I insist on Older Photographs. Everyone likes Photos. Several times our Naughty Cat blogged when nodog would. But your kitties are Good, right?

I decline tomatoes too. I do like Worms though - they are squishy and red too!

CKC and Dad,
Mom, Romeo and I are so very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. We are glad to hear that your dad is willing to help you keep the bloging up and running. Mom says to tell your dad if he ever needs to talk she's here. Now we're sure your mom and our dad are up in heaven talking about us dogs.
Hugs and kissies,
Ozzy, Romeo and Jen

Charlie,
We're happy that you're back. It will take time for y'all, specially the dad, to get into a new routine. There will be changes and adjustments but you're still a family. It'll be good for the dad to occupy his time by helping you blog and it will be a living link your mom's memory. We hope that the healing has started but we don't think it ever ends. Your mom took a bit of your hearts with her to the Rainbow Bridge. We're glad to have youse with us'ns.
